CTE Wasn't the Add-On. It Was the Point.
CTE wasn't created as an elective; it was one of the primary reasons public education existed. But over time, a hierarchy formed that left hands-on learning fighting for space. Today, students graduate with knowledge but often lack direction. To bridge the gap, we must recognize that our current systems weren't built for CTE. It’s time to understand how the system was designed—so we can finally start to change it.
